ELEMENTAL BODYWORK - INTERNAL RULES

All training organisations are required to establish internal regulations applicable to trainees (Articles L. 6352-3 and R. 6352-1 of the Labor Code). This Regulation applies to all trainees. Each trainee is expected to accept the terms of this contract when attending a course / training provided by Elemental-Bodywork.

Article 1: General conditions: Every trainee must comply with this regulation in all matters relating to the application of health and safety regulations, as well as the general and permanent rules relating to discipline.

Article 2: Places: The courses / training take place in different places. These regulations are applicable at any place of training.

Article 3: Our trainings / courses are open to all participants:  Each participante is aware that the training and its application cannot and must not be undertaken contrary to a medical decision, and cannot be a substitute for any treatment recommended by a physician. All trainees should be in good physical and psychological condition. If in doubt, please get in touch with the course organisers to discuss your personal condition. Each massage may include contra indications.

Article 4: Dress: Participants should be decently dressed at the training. It is advisable to bring comfortable clothes, as well as a swimsuit for the oil massages.The participants should have good personal hygiene and clean clothes during the course. It is advisable to have short nails. It is requested that participants remove jewelry. The wearing of shoes is prohibited in the training room. Please bring gym slippers or clean socks.

Article 5: Mobile phones are strictly forbidden in the classroom. They must be left in the cloakroom, switched off or on silent mode.

Article 6: Photos / audio recordings: It is forbidden to record (audio or video) without the instructor's consent.

Article 7: Respect: The teaching methods emphasis trust and the respect of each other, the participants should conform to them and adopt behavior conducive to the smooth running of the course. We strictly prohibit all violent or ambiguous attitudes as well as racist, religious, political, fanatic, sectarian or views that are not respectful of human rights and freedoms.

Article 8: Insurance / Liability: Elemental-Bodywork declines any responsibility in case of loss, theft or deterioration of the personal belongings of the participants during the training. The participant is responsible for his own civil liability during the training / course.

Article 8: Timetables and places: The location of the course can be moved (in the same area as that envisaged at the beginning) if necessary. Schedules can be readjusted as well. In this case, you will be informed as soon as possible.

Article 9: Therapeutic orientation: The practice of therapeutic massage is in France, reserved for masseurs-physiotherapists. The techniques taught in the Elemental-bodywork association have no connection with the practice of physiotherapy and in no way replaces a medical diagnosis. The methods taught do not substitute a medical prescription.

Article 10: Ownership of court materials: The educational documentation handed over during the training sessions remains the intellectual property of Elemental-Bodywork or of the trainer. As such, it can not be used for commercial purposes or copying in order to teach methods proposed outside the association. Any copy or reproduction for dissemination of these documents is prohibited.

Article 11: Force Majeure: Elemental-Bodywork may be released from its obligations or suspend its duties if it finds itself unable to assume them properly due to the occurrence of an exceptional event or a case force majeure, without entitlement to compensation.

Article 12: Conditions of cancellation: Elemental-Bodywork reserves the right to postpone or cancel a course or training if the conditions necessary for the realisation of the course are not conducive. In this case, you will be returned the deposit or payment but it will not be possible to ask us for compensation. In the case of cancellation on your part: If you cancel your registration more than 6 weeks before the beginning of the course, you can transfer your deposit to another course. Less than 6 weeks before, for the smooth running of our training, you will no longer be able to cancel unless specifically requested in writing to the Board of Directors.
