This practice helps release physical and emotional patterns, activating the body's innate self-healing capacity, reducing pain, and enabling you to live a full and active life.
MER treats the whole person—body, mind, and emotions. A significant part of the technique is education, helping you understand what has caused the tissue contractions (emotional repression, negative beliefs, dysfunctional habits, etc.).
Myofascial Energetic Release: Relieving Physical Pain
Myofascial Energetic Release (MER) is a type of bodywork therapy focused on restructuring body posture and naturally relieving pain. It operates through fascia therapy, working with the connective tissues.
The primary cause of about 90% of chronic physical pain is over-contraction of the five types of soft tissues: muscles, fascia, skin, tendons, and nerves.
MER is a unique bodywork technique, created by Satyarthi Peloquin, which has proven effective over the years. This method helps relieve pain by unlocking the body's natural ability to restore balance. It combines an innovative mix of soft and deep tissue manipulation, joint release, energetic work, breathwork, myofascial release, and body-mind awakening through movement and breath.
Emotional Regulation:
TIPI Method
The TIPI method involves sensorially processing “troubling” emotions in order to gain greater freedom of being and heightened sensitivity.
Emotional regulation (according to TIPI) is a process aimed at freeing oneself from fears, phobias, anxieties, anger, and other unpleasant emotions that generate stress, tension, irritability, and relational difficulties. It works by tapping into our innate natural ability for emotional regulation.
Whenever we experience an emotion, it manifests in the body. This manifestation is natural and healthy, but if it persists and isn’t regulated, it can leave lasting imprints, both mentally and physically (tension, fear, phobias, etc.).
Emotional regulation is a practical, simple, quick, and effective method to learn how to manage emotions and live more peacefully.
In an average of two sessions, you work with the therapist on a specific emotion. You learn how to connect the emotion with its bodily sensation, allowing the emotion to appear sensorially and then fade away. Once the technique is understood, you can apply it on your own in various situations, gradually freeing yourself from “disruptive” emotions.
